The Collision Repair Process

Step 1: Estimate

This is the time to ask questions. We’ll write you an estimate at any time during business hours, so feel free to contact us for a free quote. We’ll work with you and the insurance agency to ensure your vehicle is repaired correctly. After the estimate is approved, it varies how long parts will take to arrive. However, we’ll ensure expectations are established. We can help you get set up with a rental vehicle at our location at the time of drop off.

Step 2: Disassembly

After the vehicle is dropped off, we begin the disassembly process to the areas that need repair. We’ll then reconnect with the insurance agency for authorization to proceed. Once approved, we will order the necessary parts. The car will remain in the disassembly state until the parts arrive.

Step 3: Repair

Insurance authorization approval is received and we’ll begin our detailed auto body repair. The body technician will ensure the structural components meet the specifications outlined by the manufacturer. Body panels are then placed back on the vehicle and aligned to be properly fitted. Once fitted, we can begin the painting process.

Step 4: Paint

We’ll make sure the paint job matches old parts with the new ones. If the painter sees fit, we’ll blend the sections to ensure a perfect color match. Once the paint job is completed, we will buff the vehicle to add that extra shine your vehicle deserves.

Step 5: Reassembly

The vehicle is looking good and now it’s time to move it back to the technicians’ bay. The parts, windows, and moldings will be reinstalled. We’ll then have the technician examine everything, so it’s back in the manufacturers/factory settings. Once it passes our inspection, we’ll have run a final assessment and test drive the vehicle if the car was initially brought in with structure damage.

Step 6: Detailing

After your vehicle is in top condition, we’ll finish off the job with detailing the outside and inside to complete the process. The car is now back in your hands!

Let our vehicle repair experts bring your car’s crunched fenders, bent frames and dented doors back to life.
